What is your motivation for success in life??

Hi to all of you on Digital Point. I want to ask one question and I was thinking about that for some time. What is your motivation for success in life?? What drives you?Someone is driven with a faith of success but someone with the fear of failure. I had a problem this type because I had fear of failure for some time and every day I was trying to make all perfect and that only lead to another fail. So what is your opinion??

My family, my friends, loved ones and most of all my Saviour keep me going everyday. Its great to think and feel that they love me so much that they will pick me up every time I fall down.

It's all about personal freedom. Success gets you respect, respect gives you power. When you have power you have freedom.
If you are successful no one tells you what to do, they request it. If you drive a fancy car(s) live in an upscale neighborhood, and have an expensive gold watch etc. people respect you, that leads to self respect.
Success gives you that and security too. Security makes one feel invincable and powerful. Very nice feeling, who wouldn't want that?;)

I'm pretty sure that all people want that. But some need to be satisfied with less. :)

I work to live and I do not live to work. These two simple steps remind me of what is important to me, and motivation comes from the desire for development.

There are many driving factors for life. They include my family, myself, my colleagues and friends and rising competition everywhere. Most importantly a desire to have a good standard of life is the driving factor.

In regards to your question, just as others beforehand have stated, what motivates me is to be able to provide for my own family the basic necessities of life. The ability to provide food, housing and transportation and other basic material things is what motivates me. As long as my family and I have the basic necessities of life we will be content and contentment leads to happiness, which means I am living a successful life.

A lot of things drive me, and no, fear of failure is not one of them. I've failed a lot of times in this business, and life, and I don't even keep count anymore, but I've succeeded too, so it was not all in vain.

My dad used to say that his daughters have to do twice as much as he did and earn twice as much as he did and so on. His reasoning was that, if he could do it from being brought up in a village, then we could do twice that after being brought up in an upper-middle class background. So well, that was a great motivator. I wanted to earn more than my dad, study more, and so on.

As I got older though, now, my motivations are more than just my dad. I want to be financially independent, totally. I want to make a lot of changes in my society, and maybe the world, and as far as I've seen, the only way to do that is if you have money. So you see, now, I don't just want to earn twice as much as I dad did, but I want to do A LOT more than that, and those reasons motivate me, and will continue to motivate me.
