    Thats because he is entertainment, not hard hitting news. He doesn't try and pretend he is Walter Cronkite, and it keeps his show at the top of the ratings. Conan keeps it light as well. Letterman is just a useless tool. I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel enough to form an opinion, though I used to think of him as the funny one on The Man Show. Turns out Adam Corrolla has more personality.

    I agree with all, except I also find that despite being a tool for the Dems Letterman can dig deeper into insight and has a better command of language.

    My favorite, hands down, is Craig Ferguson.
