    Some people still use those clunky CTR monitors. Maby the can't afford a High res LCD.. But damn... I hate those monitors.

    Regarding CRT vs. LCD ... they each have their strengths and weaknesses. CRT's take up a lot more space, but the image is smoother and stays the same at all angles.

    LCD's are more elegant, and having ClearType enabled makes text look very nice ... but the overall image is grainier than its CRT counterpart, and if a few people are gathered around your desk looking at your monitor, they'll probably be taking turns trying to see it because the image turns into a negative at several different angles.

    Just my 2¢ :)

    I've got 1280x1024. I think that here is really difficult to tell which resolution is dominant... There is about five resolutions whichs possition is almost equal.
