    Hi all,

I, as a vendor, have a question for all you affiliates:

What is your minimum commission to promote a particular product (e.g. $16, 18....)

It's just my current product's commission is set to around $19, is that enough for you guys?

    Thanks,
    Dim.

Well I will promote any amount of commission it really don't matter to me. I see it as this money, is money, if it is 2dollars or 100dollars. I really have no problem with low commission

$33 unless I can convert a 20 dollar product really well. I'll try promoting anything, though, as long as I see there is sufficient demand.

The minimum earnings per sale I look for is $25. I'll go down to $20 per sale if it's something I can sell more or less as an "add-on" to other products I'm already promoting, i.e. without doing too much "new work" for it.

$20+ seems ideal. Anything less and you might have a hard time getting advanced affiliates to work for you.

I use a lot of PPC so I won't promote under $20-25 but it needs to convert at a high rate on a low payout. Upsells become important for PPC users on low payouts.

I choose among products that pay more than $12.

$40 to $60 minimum... less sales and traffic required to make a decent amount of cash.

Say you get 1,000 visitors and the product has a 2% conversion rate... that's 20 buyers...

    20 buyers @ $20 commission = $400.
    20 buyers @ $60 = $1,200.

To make $1,200 from $20 commission you'd need 60 buyers (or 3,000 visitors with a 2% conversion rate)...

Contrary to popular belief, it's no harder to sell an expensive product than it is an inexpensive one.
