    On weekdays 2500+, during the weekend less than 1500 (niche site) and that constantly for five years now. Very strange that difference. Puzzling even.

    It totally depends upon your site views. I have visits around 5,000 per month and it calculates around 160-170 visits daily. Might be the number varies it shows the only average values.

    Since you're asking about the highest visits in a day, I'll go ahead and answer that question. According to Google Analytics, the most visits that I had during a single day was 20,748. That was because of a spike, though. I wished I came close to averaging that.

    My was Finance website which gives highest hits 65000 hits in a day. That was a day when we run a campaign. Else normally we get 10000+ unique views daily.
