1. Buddha (Buddhist Scholar, share your comments) 2. Christ ( I was reading some people can intercommune with Christ, it seems Christ says to them his original teaching was badly modified by some greedy people for their own advantage, even his biography was not spared. He also says , if people would have truely followed his teaching world would have been a totaly different places than that of what it is now He also says that there is no heaven, but there is hell, something simmilar to Jail where bad people are kept, good people can move freely anywhere in the universe) 3.Krishna ( As per some people who claim to intercommune with Krishna, claims that his affairs with Gopis were brainchild of some stupid story teller, When asked when will He come again to World, He seems to say, that it would not be required, since in a quarter of century earth will be devastated by power of atoms after that He is going to reclaim the world within a century 4.Mahavir (Jain Scholar , Please comment on it) 5.Mohammad (Muslim Scholar, Share your thoughts) 6.Nanak (Sikh Scolar , Your comment please) NOTE: Gods are ordered in alphabetical order You can take it with a glass of beer if you do not like it
those persons are not god.......they are messagers...., the One, God, the Self-Sufficient Master upon Whom all depend, He begets not, nor is He begotten, and there is none who is comparable unto Him.
Hopefully inspiring the NY Football Giants onto victory against the devil worshipping Eagles this weekend.
My concept of god is a sea of energy that flows through everything, says nothing but creates everything, has split himself up into many pieces so that part of him has someone to talk to and can experience everything.
Energy is inherently self controlling. Take for example the atoms of your body, they dance around each other in perfect coordination, your heart beats without you even thinking about it, regulating the energy flow through it.
There is heaven and there is hell. I believe Jesus Christ is calling to all those who believe in Him and asking them to spread His message: To love one another as He loved us all. The other way of saying this: To love others as you love yourself. If people will only follow this teaching, then this world will really be a lot different.
Funny I thought it was the other way around. Hell was created by the catholic church circa 313AD at the "Council of Nicea". The story of Satan was actually created by demonising the earlier roman god Pan (the god of the hunt) Jesus never actually mentioned hell once. He mentioned Heaven a lot though.
Correct, he mentioned it many times. For instance: Mar 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: v44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. v45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: v46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. v47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: v48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Also, here is a parable from Jesus: Luk 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, v21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores v22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; v23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments... Jesus calls it the "furnace of fire" (Matt 13:50) and "everlasting fire" (Matt 25:41). In fact, Jesus refers to hell over seventy times. If the above references are not sufficient please let me know and I'll see what else I can come up with. I know there are more such references in Revelations. But the above are from the gospels, from the mouth of Jesus Himself.
Exactly. For true insight you may want to look at Taoisim. The Book of Changes is the ONLY book that was written by an enlightened person. All other scriptures in other religions were written by deciples, followers, etc.
