I'm really interested to hear what other members think.. I know a lot about wordpress and like to post in that section, but it is very few visited, so there is no action there.. So, what is your favourite section on DP?
Without a doubt for me it's the "Copywriting" section. This is where members who love to write hang out. It's copywriters, article writers, editors, publishers and really anyone who is interested in writing. What I don't like is members who come on there with poor writing skills and post. Copywriting forum has a high standard and it's better to keep it that way. Members who post on there that can't spell or put two words together properly, tend to get chased out.
I had never post anything to ''Copywriting'' section, 'cause I'm not an article writer and my native language isn't english, so I avoid that section..
Is that a euphemism for the Politics & Religion section?.... I've seen plenty of tools in there... It used to be BST for me when i used to sell my scripts and sites, though it's fair to say I don't really have a *favorite* section anymore, though looking at my profile page, I've mostly posted in support & feedback.
No... these sort of things: https://tools.digitalpoint.com/analytics-charts https://tools.digitalpoint.com/analytics-globe https://tools.digitalpoint.com/cookie-search https://tools.digitalpoint.com/tracker etc...
Not to hijack this thread, but I wonder if there are sections on this forum that people seriously dislike. malky66, I personally stay away from Politics & Religion because I have strong opinions on everything and so, I'd rather not even visit that page. So, for me that would be the page I don't like.
@qwikad.com Well if we're going to discuss sections that we dislike, it would be Politics & Religion forum. I used to post there but it brought out the worst in me. So whenever a thread on General Chat that I've posted on gets moved there, I'm not too happy because the attack birds swoop down instantly. When that happens I'm tempted to retaliate, but so far have resisted the temptation.
For dislike, it has to be the SEO, Google and Link Development sections. I used to post in them a lot, but not so often now. Too much degenerate spam (albeit less since the changes), tinfoil hat and crying ("Mummmmmmmmmmmy, Googly Goo Panda Wanda eaty my site waaaaaaaa"). Just too many victims and delusional people posting, really. I mean, have some balls and accept you screwed up, understand your mistakes, fix it and move forward (instead of being a victim and repeating the mistakes, blaming everyone else). For like, it has to be General Chat, of course! Sure, it can be spammy (I mean some really dumb questions), but can be very amusing, too. I also like to find some threads with the "Spy" option or stalk the people I find interesting with "Your News Feed". Shawn's "cookie search" tool is very cool.
I like the general chat and SEO section the most. In SEO I get a lot of real life challenges and problems to solve and resolve. In general chat I feel light in discussing everyday happenings and experiences apart from the routine professional life.
