Just curious... What is your favorite type of art? Visual? Literary? Performing? Personally I like visual and performing arts the most. One can analyze them more deeply than words.
I like spooky art , like the art of Chad Savage, or the Art of Olivia. As far as literature I like Neil Gaiman, Philip K. Dick (PKD) he wrote Bladerunner, and a few other writers and artists. As far as music I like listening to Trance, Trance/House Music like; Dj kirkkic, The Prodigy, Crystal Method, etc.
Metal sculpture, and my favorite artist is Clayton Bailey. You can see more of his work in the robot gallery. I wrote to him several times before because I wanted to write an article about him, and he was very nice.
Music and traditional art ie: paintings of scenery and things like that. Im not a fan of weird art, like putting one box in the middle of an empty room, calling it the box and nonsense like that, i think those types of artists are taking the p**s I dont like modern art in the form of a building, im much more impressed by an old cathedral or similar. Some fashion i see as art too, the designer Karl Lagerfeld is walking, living art to me But not Leigh Bowery he was too weird for my liking.
Comedians. Especially ones that are adroit at commenting on society, politics and the hypocrisy and idiosyncrasies of mankind. Some of them are geniuses. George Carlin is a good example. Adam Corolla is another example. Carlin was also a good writer. I recommend reading Brain Droppings.
