I like free classifieds. They provide the traffic you need from the people who are interested in buying from you.

Social media. It has taught me that I honestly do not need search engines for traffic.

If I was selling products directly then I would probably opt for paid search ads, but I'm not selling anything so that would just be a waste of money for me.

It depends on the product you want to promote. for a particular age group facebook is the best platform to generate traffic. facebook ads and building fan page by targeting the fans of other page has been the most sucessful tool in recent year

Search Engine Traffic is great but expensive working within Thin Budget and still managing ROI is difficult I guess

I love using facebook paid traffic that is hyper targeted and pointing to a great contest with a giveaway. People love to get something for free, they love the chance to win, you can get their email and market to them afterwards and the paid fb traffic to a fb post is much cheaper than going offsite to your website. You can send them there after they opt in to your contest, but keep them on fb to enter your contest... happy customers!
