The one with Tomacco was great. Also the one where Homer tries to reach 300 lbs. to get on workman's comp so he can "work" from home on his computer. Or the Monorail episode... Remember the one where Bart goes on a road trip to the Knoxville World's Fair only to find a wig outlet store?

Impossible to name just one I have watched 100's of episodes of The Simpsons over the years and enjoyed so many - but i right now im having trouble picking just one fav episode........ anything where Homer takes his intellegence to a new lower level and makes an idiot of himself. Some of the Halloween specials have been brilliant and very funny 1) Like the Tree House of Horrors where it does the Steven King movie parody "The Shinning" - "No beer and Tv makes Homer something, something" - "Crazy". "Dont mind if i do...." and in that episode Homer tries to fix the toaster and creates a time machine and cant stop affecting time and keeps going back and forward in time trying to fix everything 2) Treehouse of Horror XVII: The one where Homer is grows into big giant green blob and starts eating everything like Bart and other people 3) "Thank God It's Doomsday" - where Homer predicts the rapture or end of the world is coming 4) "The Simpsons Trilogy of Error" - episode where Lisa builds Lingo the talking grammar robot, Homers thumb gets cut off and the story is split up into different characters perspective of same event Other classics i can remember: The chill cook off, Simpsons go to New York, Episode where Barts raises that cow and they save it from the meat factory, the episode where Lisa becomes a vegetarian and tries to subotage Homers bbq spit roast pig, One where Barts gets fat from eating the vending machine food from school, episode where Bart shoots the bird and raises the eggs to they hatch into flying lizards. Yes i am a crazy fan There is probably so many other really funny ones too
Since when i was still small, the Simpson has been a household name. Every episode for me was a classic, specially when celebrities storms in with their silly antics. Long live The Simpson!
Yeah, it's impossible to name just one but I guess this post is to name the best of the best episodes, or the ones that stand out the most for you. And yes, I'm a big fan of the Halloween ones aswell.
