I prefer blue for colors and 3 column like on my site www.directory.jodee.biz there just aren't enough 3 column templates that are of quality IMHO

Great question! So far most if not all templates are created the same way. I have yet to see a template that stands out from the crowd. You might be the first one to create a template that would be an example for the others. I'm pretty sure you will find someone to sponsor it. My favorite is: DirectoryDump template and Cold singe created by Anon. I know others but don't remember the url I like the three columns with white background and bright light colors (blue is really popular- something like Yahoo.com) One important thing to remember is most of us don't know much about coding and it would be nice to take this into consideration when creating a template. I would like to use some really good templates, but is not easy to modify them or add extra features specially those that use a lot of images and can't add an extra page. Make it simple for the average user with the option to modify it according to our own needs and yet make it as the best work of art you can't somewhere else. Have enough ideas already? Or Is this too much to ask?

Yes, there are many Bangladeshis are working on Open Source. Open Source is open for all. Anybody can start work in this sector. phpLD is the best way to start. We are advising all promising young in Bangladesh to join phpLD and put the best effort for this to get handsome return.
I thought many people here were just posting there own or there friend's (people they've done business with) templates as there favourites!!! I love Romow, Eonte, Linksfactory, DirJournal(thats one hell of a design), and Argusvision as well!
Thanks Meethere It's getting re-designed, because I have new features I need implemented and it simply doesn't cater for them I'll be sad to see this design go down the drain as I too like it
Somebody did it here. you are right. Somebody try to establish his or his friends as designers, so that they get order for new design. This is really not looking good.
