Vista came with my laptop, and i like it cus i can play new games with it, but then again, XP was much better
WIndows XP of course I've been used it for years, and it's friendly...i use mac once, but i got myself confused, so XP is the best...
mac os x for sure because it's not crappy like vista or xp ..... It's just running and never broke down or made any problems
3 years ago I would definately say windows xp, but since then I'm using only ubuntu on my personally pc, ubuntu on my server, linux on my ipod, linuxmce on the HTPC and I'm keeping on linux'ing up everything I can For a programmer linux provides a LOT more options, more comfortable, I even convinced my boss to move to ubuntu!, I installed ubuntu & fedora on all of the PC's in the office and everyone is happy The development tools are sooo more good! (for EVERY language) oh and the main thing - you don't have to feel guilty for copying when you install linux (which is happening usually when you install windows xp though...)
My favourite OS is Atari GEM/TOS (The Operating System). Why? Because it's a fkn Atari is why. I've had numerous 520STs and 1040STs over the last 20 years, and every time I boot into GEM, it brings a big cheezy smile to my face. I'm also a big fan of Palm OS. But... for day to day purposes, I'm using XP. Mainly 'because it's there'.
I use xp. I haven't tried vista and am thinking of just skipping right to windows 7. I really like xp 'cause it's so mod-able.
