Le Samourai is the best movie I've seen in a while and I watch anywhere from 10-20 movies a week.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062229/

Highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I'll be writing up a recommendation for it shortly.

10-20 movies a week?? How the heck can you do that? I have been watching pieces of Harry potter for a week now and can't finish it, after 15 minutes I get bored so I stop the DVD and start surfing the channels to see what's on.

Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll be able to finish it :D

Wedding Crashers is probably my favorite movie. I think it is the best movie to come out in years.

I have watched it 10 times already, and the DVD just came out a week or so ago.

What can I say... I'm just living the dream :)

Hey, what's wrong with Kiki's Delivery Service? It was a cute film, and watching it with chicks helped my friend bag some booty (how the hell he managed to do it, I have no clue).

    My favourite films include:

    Kung Pow
    Shaolin Soccer
    Kung Fu Hustle
Ghost in the Shell (1 and 2, prefer 2 over 1)
    Jin-Roh
    Bladerunner

All my free time goes into watching movies. The other thing is I normally try to watch really good movies. I can not sit through more than a few minutes of a movie that isn't real good. I figure I have better things to do.

The other reason I watch so much is because it ties into my career. I've, also, taught film appreciation as well.

I agree with Stalag 17 being great.

relixx have you seen Grave of the Fireflies? I really like it.

Holy crap, that was the only film to have actually made me cry  Very very depressing film too. I liked how it showed how things were on the other side of the fence during WW2.

Studio Ghibli's always delivers :D Although, is was Miyazaki Hayao (family name first) who directed Princess Mononoke, GotFF was directed by Takahata Isao (family name first)

    Some GotFF trivia:
Takahata, director and one of the key animators, was the only living animator involved on the project who had survived bomb blasts.
This movie is the only Ghibili theatrical feature film to not be part of the Disney-Tokuma deal. (gee, I wonder why? :p )
