My credit card was charged $212.15 by webhostinghub.com without any prior or advance notice. They charged me for those unwanted domain names as well as one year's hosting fee.

I contacted webhostinghub.com and asked them why they can charged my credit card without any notice, they said, they usually dont send email one month before domain names are expiring. But I searched my emails and find no emails ending in webhostinghub.com in recentl months. Are they lying?

I submitted a refund request and they told me they can only refund me hosting fee ,but not domain name fees. So,what should do with those unwanted domains? If they just send me a email to let me know my domain names are expiring,my credit card wont be charged .

Also, after I submitted refund notice,my website www.modernhomestores.com is suddenly not active ,because it is hosted by webhostinghub. Now,I have to hire people to set it up on other hosting services and this will probably cost several hundred dollars

I contacted my credit card company and told them details about this transaction and is waiting for results.

Guys, what is your experience with www.webhostinghub.com ?This is my first time that I come across such a ridiculous hosting company.I feel I am cheated by the company.

Sorry to hear about your poor experience. Usually the hosting companies send multiple payment reminders to the customers, without payment reminders the company will not charge directly. I would suggest you to speak to some senior officials at webhostinghub.

Did you give them your credit card number when you first signed up? Often, some hosts will get you to agree to auto-billing without making it clear when you first signup for service.

It seems like you have set an auto renewal mode to pay your hosting fees and domain registration charges. Actually, you had to raise a ticket to cancel those unwanted domains from your hosting account before the domain registration was over.

I had a similar problem at iPage, but they refunded the payment without any hassle. In my case, the full charge was for hosting services (upcoming 12 months). I suggest you to keep your domains separate of hosting at Name.com, Godaddy or other registrar.
