What is Your experience with social book marking site and Adsense earnings ? Which social book marking site is good for Adsense ?
Nil. Probably because I haven't spend time on looking at the social directories. I understand those like Digg and Reddit can do you good with decent traffic. Those could convert. Stumbleupon stumbles are likely not to increase your Adsense earnings
Digg CTR is extremely low, but because there is so much traffic, you will still make a few bucks. I made $20-$30 from one Digg story. Not bad, but nothing spectacular from 50,000 uniques.
I don't have much experience with social bookmarking sites generating income, but they are a big part of my site promotion strategy for the following reasons: 1) Even with a low CTR, the traffic is huge enough that it will generate some $ 2) Social bookmarking sites facilitate backlink creation on related sites - a digg front page placement can generate more natural links than I could probably acquire otherwise... 3) This helps with SERP placement, PR, and creates some degree of continuing inbound traffic in the future. So... even if the immediate payout isn't there, the extra traffic should yield benefits for me. If my site were more established, maybe the benefit would be lower, but just starting out, social bookmarking can have a big impact.
My experience with social bookmarking sites has been poor at best. The only one I bother with nowadays is Digg and it is as hard as heck to reach the frontpage with that.
I use www.Tagenie.com for auto social bookmarking. It prepares submission forms for your page/URL for upto 43 Bookmarking web sites. Quite handy tool as you can add it in your web site. I get most of traffic from netscape.com's bookamrking servie. 2nd good site where i get traffic from is www.tagza.com - though traffic from tagza.com is mostly Indian based traffic.
Generally speaking social bookmarking traffic is very low quality traffic. It does brings in a lot of traffic, but the CTR isn't great. Free AdSense Ready Sites has been stumbled a few times, Traffic and downloads rocket but CTR is very low.. This could also have something to do with the Uglyness of the site.. Thrown up, but its a work in progress (When i get round to it )..
I use Onlywire and it gets my site submitted to most of the major social bookmarking sites. The only good benefit I get is getting some backlinks pretty fast that way. But as for helping to increase adsense income, I guess it depends very much on your site - the topic, the content and a host of other factors. Digg is pretty good to get traffic though.
