What is your conversion rate?

I would just like to get an idea of what conversion rates other affiliates and vendors are experincing.

I am getting around 3%-5% conversions (3-5 sales for every 100 visitors).

If you could give the source of your traffic (organic search, ppc, article, etc.) it would make your post more meaningful!

    Thanks

    Zach

I get 30-35% conversion for signup without any landing page. I think it may increase a bit with landing page.

Uh tell me how you are getting such a high convert? The merchants I am affilating for are being honest and saying 1:50 convert and this is about what I am getting. Some are converting closer to 1% but that is still profitable due to cheap keywords.

I get about 1 to 3 sales for every 100 clicks at Adwords but the bids are getting more expensive and not as profitable as before.

It varies by how targeted the traffic is, how new the product is, what the product is etc...

I've had campaigns that would convert at 1:20 of my incoming traffic and 1:8 of my outbound traffic using a good pre-sell.

I've also seen on the flip side of the coin affiliates w/ such excellent pre-sell that all I need is 4-5 uniques to make a sale for them as a vendor..

I have 2 products on Clickbank- both have been there for years and do not sell nearly as well as when they were new. One converted at around 1:100 during it's hey day and the other around 1:50.

1% conversion rate on both of my products. I make about 4 sales per week each...

I think Clickbank is kind of seen its better day.

search engine traffic to my mall converts very well.
I get something around 10 sales per hundred visitors.
As the mall offers a lot of choice, visitors purchase some product before leaving it.

One of my campaigns converts at 1:30 fairly predictably from PPC. Some of my others vary widely- it really depends on the traffic source & the landing page.

it depends on the product. Higher priced products can have a poorer conversion rate and still make you money.

Plus it depends on your traffic. Organic SE usually does better for me than PPC. email, banners, article, and other traffic will have different conversion rates...

When I did PPC I saw about 1.5% conversion rates for my products, at $30/sale... your marketing may be better or it may be worse...
