So, Conversion rates on google and any other market that you sell poblishers products and please only affilates. i place for an example the ultimate welth pacage said conversion rate of 5% but reached to 85 people on adwords no product sold and i stop it[it was from content network]
I see things on clickbank all the time that claim their conversion rates are 5%, 10%, etc...sometimes I'll get 100, 200, 300 clicks and no sales. It's all B.S.
No, it's not b.s. You can get a huge conversion rate if: 1) the sales page is good, 2) if your pre-sell is good, 3) if your traffic is LASER targeted. The main key of success in Adwords is relevance, but it takes a while to really understand that.
well why wont people vote and see how much % they got? i see only 1 vote now, and what your r saying is if the seller said 5% it probably means that is the max that u can get if all those 3 things u mentiond are done and when there is a lot of competion in 1 products u just can't win it cause it's like the same number of clicks was made but more affilates are now promoting the product and that means every affialte ctr is geting lower and lower and eventually the product's gravity will drop, so the key for success is promoting products with low gravity that are in a proccess of getting higher and higher..
dog_24, I realize that it IS possible to get conversion rates of 5-10% when you drive the correct traffic etc. to a site. What I meant was that it is impossible for the OVERALL conversion rate to be 5-10% as many claim it is. You can't deny that some clickbank merchants lie to get affiliates to market their less-than-extraordinary products.
Are we talking about conversion rate of traffic sent to a merchant page producing a sale? Or conversion rate of traffic from a landing page to a merchant page? -T
Its the same, in both ways u get to the merchant site landing page to make a sale, the diffrence is that maybe one way better than the other one but not every one will make them self a landing page. so this pool is all about any source of trafic to a mechant page but not a self made landing page that goes around the merchant page.
Laser targeted ads are only way to make any money of clickbank. I have had some good days and made over $200 in one day. Has anyone noticed site is hard to log in and sales have gone down. I know some sites that made me money are lower ranked now but i always made a few bucks and sales are way down. I also think you have to stay ahead of the curve and make sites for the hot product to make real money.
Just curious, but what exactly do you all mean by laser-targeted? Find people looking to buy a fairly specific type of product and direct them through your site to that product on clickbank?
That's basically it. The general idea is that the closer you can get to figuring out EXACTLY what people are looking for, and then present it in EXACTLY in the manner that appeals to them, gets their emotions involved & excited, the less you'll have to spend and the more you'll make. This is why, in general, the more specific the product that you choose is, the better chance you'll have at finding a target audience for it. For example, if I had these two products available to me on clickbank, which do you think I would choose, based on how easy it would be to figure out who to market it to? - A guide on how to make money online OR -A step-by-step guide for young to middle aged women on how to cure panic attacks naturally without drugs? It's all about details and specifics- the more you know WHO your target audience is, and the more you know ABOUT your target audience, the more laser targetted your campaign can be to them specifically, because you don't have to waste money trying to figure out who you should be selling to, and what they're are interested in. When you line up an audience starving for a single particular product (as indicated by popularity of its search term) with the specific product they can't get enough of, sales come super easy, and your campaign is "laser targetted". -T
When merchants mention their conversion rates like 5% for example, this is not the max you can get. You could just get 1% or you could get 100%, it depends on how well your promote the merchants products and also how well the merchant deals with each sale. The 5% they mention is an average taken from all affiliates that help to promote and sell their products.
Very nice example - Thank you, you probably mention the women guide is more specific than the other one
