I've typically built my own computers since I was 16 years old (so for 12 years) Always intel, I've never owned an AMD. Used to like Asus motherboards but I currently have a Gigabyte. Used to use ATI graphics cards, but I now have a nVidia gtx480. For laptops - Acer.
I am using dell laptop and its working fine for me. I have bought it two years ago and still its working fine for me
After switching to PC's (from my good old Amigas), I don't really care about the brand. Same crap in all of them, more or less. My workstation is an HP, and my notebook is a Packard Bell (which was the only thing I could afford).
right now, I am using a medion.. though I have an ACER as well.. and NO I don't have plans on switching..
custom pc from various brand, abit, amd, ati radeon, etc.. planning to get myself a laptop..probably compaq..
I am using emachines notebook. I had laptop before but I shifted to notebook so that I can bring it during travel, I also had a generic notebook. Emachines notebook is cheaper than other but the quality is as good as other brands. I have been using it for more than a year and always turned on 24/7. But no sign of breaking down even on the battery. But I am planning to buy a new one, I always change every other year to check other brands and to find good deals.
I custom built my computer with a quad core AMD processor, 4gigs of ram and over 3tb of hard drive space, and my video card is ATI with 3 monitor support.
Currently i ma using HP laptop and Amconics PC. Both are good for me and i am not in changing mode to them.
