    The bigger question I think is not what your rank is, but what is the value of your rank. I had asked this question on another forum and it sounded like it was not really a well trusted value

    I'm at about 7.5k for my site... fluctuates between 5000-8000. Opened it Nov 1 2007, so only a few months old. Not bad :)

    I agree with this statement. I personally never care about alexa.
    It's impossible for alexa to collect data without using its spyware-toolbar. And if your site has better alexa rank, it doesn't mean that your site is better.

    I disagree. If you use Alexa widgets on your site, Alexa will collect your traffic.

    I agree, but if you're not using black methods, your site is probably more popular.

    4 months old domain name. But i started "working" with it just on March 6th.
    The result so far is satisying(at least for me :p ) I am currently #660,136
    ( i can't post the link to alexa traffic yetpnot enough posts- if you don't believe me just go to alexa and search for globeirc.com :D )
