I am only really just getting into it seriously just now, but I am usually sitting at around 3.9-4%. I think I will be able to get it up to around 10%, because I have figured a few things out now. But really 4-5% is not bad, and it won't get you smart priced.
I am amazed at the people who come here and know nothing about the rules. Guys if you EVER want to make money online you have to know what you are doing and the first thing is to follow the rules. It is against the rules to share your CTR. It is a good way to get your accounts banned. Besides it does not matter anyways as it varies from niche to niche and website to website.
I have never seen that in the rules anywhere... What about sharing your CTR with an Advertising Agency or colleague? MY CTR ranges from 0.5% - 5% on high traffic websites. I would not advise anyone to aim to get their CTR above... 8,9,10%... on a regular basis, as you are marking your site out as low quality/potential click fraud.
I get around 7% CTR from my low traffic blog (100~200UV per day) And the high traffic website get only 2~4%
Well it is against the googles rules to post your CTR. I do not know why and I am only warning you all. Be careful and always read the rules.
