What is Yammar?

Has anyone used Yammar? What is it about and what do you think of it?

I really can't work it out to be honest from looking at it.

 

Yammer is an enterprise version of Twitter.'The purpose is to allow co-workers to share status updates. You post updates on what you are working on. You can post news, links, ask questions, and get answers for people in your company. You can see the most prolific people and the most followed people. It is a good way to discover who is the most influential in your company.

We can say that Yammer is same like Skype. We can communicate and sharing data with each other.

Yammer is essentially a social network that entirely focuses on your business. As well as it supports internal and external networks.
