Ya, I got indexed in yahoo&msn well before google.
May be they keep lokking for new contents and give more preference to new contents than existing ones.

Yahoo is getting so unpredictable these days. A few of my web sites used to rank really well in Yahoo. As I am building more links, my rankings at Google have been going up, but the rankings at Yahoo are coming down. At the mean time, some unknown web sites appeared to pop up on Yahoo's radar for the targeted keywords.

I'd love to know what is going on at Yahoo.

I always try to rank for Google but end up doing better in Yahoo for my sites. I do know that Yahoo hates sites with a lot of Affiliate links

Don't worry about your rankings in yahoo, focus on google. Google will bring you 10 times of traffic compared with yahoo for the same ranking.

Normally, if you rank Higher in Google than your rankings are lower in Yahoo and if you rank bid mid in Google than you'll b high in Yahoo..
So do opposite to your sites and make landing pages for your targetted keywords..
Yahoo like bit lower density near to 4% thats what i experimented.. May you can try this and neva go for sitewide link exchange for Yahoo .. they really hate it

Yeah, what gives. I have a site that ranks in the top 10 in google, and in yahoo it isn't even in the top 50. The only thing that I can see from the top 10 sites is that most of them are listed in DMOZ.

I tried to get into DMOZ and didn't have any luck what-so-ever. Even a site, that hasn't had any new content for a while, is listed way higher than me. I even have more links coming in, more pages indexed, etc. The only thing they have is DMOZ listed and have been around about 5 months longer (I'm at a year.)

What gives? What web dude over at DMOZ do I have to pay off?
