What is wrong with this url rewrite? help muchh appriciated!

    bassically....for my site

    stratosphericdesign.com

    I want (for example)

    stratosphericdesign.com/home

    to go to

    stratosphericdesign.com/sites/stratosphericdesign/index.php?page=home

    i will love you forever if you can help
    I'm afraid i'm v new to all this rewriting malarky :/

    Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^([a-z]*)$ sites/stratosphericdesign/index.php?page=$1 [L]

    spot the difference ;)
