Hello Guys Why paypal now take fees on any transections however my account is verified and personal type. they even take fees on transections ( account 2 account ) is that really happen to you all too , or just me they takes on $2 transection fees almost 38c WHY WHY .
May be you have got payment using cc/debit card payment.. They will charge for card payments..for personal accounts...
no it is some new rule that the guys at paypal have come up with and are now charging for paypal to paypal transactions that are NOT termed personal. look around the forum, you can find a couple of threads which are discussing similar issues.
Yes pp have just updated their fees policy, now every transaction will be charged approximately 1.9 to 3.9% + $0.30 USD unless sender marks the payment as "personal transfer", applies to all types of pp accounts including personal. If you are receiving funds for business/commercial purpose, you cannot encourage the sender to mark it as "personal transfer", if you do so, pp may remove your ability to accept personal payments (I'm not quite sure about this one). Follow this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1368726 We're using their service, we should play by their rules...
I do not think it is advisable to follow such practice since using it only for a few transactions continuously, you might be robbed of an excellent facility that if used wisely and intelligently would pay you much more rewards! Regards, RightMan
When does this start? By doing this,it will lose the main purpose of the personal account which is to receive payment without any extra charge. And more importantly,PP have to notify us by any mean such as email about the change. But they did not do this.
a. you can accept CC payments on your personal account only 5 times/year. b. the new charges that paypal has for receiving commercial payments on personal account is 3.9% + $0.30. ------ so for a $10 payment, you receive only $9.31 [atleast thats what paypal charged me for receiving $10 on my personal account] Now, can someone tell me if accepting the same amount on a Premier account costs less than that ?
