    Hi there, I own www.vgaccess.com.
    It's a Video Game Site with a PR5 thats almost 1 year
old and has almost 70,000 backlinks.

    Here are some link stats>
    Google/AOL 2280,
    Yahoo 13500,
    AllTheWeb 22200,
    AltaVista 23200,
    MSN 5835,
    HotBot 2280

    Looks good right?
My problem is that I only get about 70 visits a day.
Here are my visits stats for this month:
    Direct address / Bookmarks 12234 visits 96.8% 13613 97.1%
Links from an Internet Search Engine 39 visits 0.3% 39 0.2%
Links from an external pages 360 visits 2.8% 361 2.5%

So my SE traffic is only 39 and counts for 0.2% of my entire traffic.
What Is wrong with this site, and why am I not not doing well at all with
    SE traffic?

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Tony

without doing detailed analysis of your site, I think its lacking basic SEO stuff. To give an example, there is no keywords and description META tags on homepage. I haven't check beyond this, but there is LOT you can do with basic SEO stuff

    1. Have keywords, description meta tags
    2. Put your main keywords, phrases in article in bold
    3. Have internal links pointing to various pages of your site (with appropriate title tags) etc

You could also do with shaping up your page title (<title>), you currently have "VGA" which isn't at all what you should be aiming at. You should replace it with something more appropriate like "Video Game Access" and perhaps do what GameSpot has done and include popular gaming keywords such as: Xbox, PS2, PSP, etc etc.

Also, try to implement heading elements as well such as <h1> followed by <h2> and of course using the preceeding elements there after.

Sitemaps work too, search engines love sitemaps.

There are meta tag generators on the net which allow you to make tags.

You need to choose say 10 keywords and put them in meta tags, title, headings and content. When you have done this people who type these keywords into google will see you site. Use the keyword suggestion tool on ww.digitalpoint.com to find how many hits a day the keywords get (bearing in mind that it only records a small number of the actual searches the key term gets)

Definately, follow the above advice with meta and sitemaps, consider RSS if you don't use it. Also rename images to keywords and use alt tags

if you put the 336x280 box in the rivew (top or bottom) your adsense earnings has bigger potensial than having one skyscrapper at the right.

I just did a view source on your home page. The <h1> tag says: Video Game Reviews and Free Online Games. You want your <h1> tag to be a high volume keyword phrase. So pick one and use it there. Check overture.com for video game and derivatives. Your <h2> tag uses: Online Video Games. This isn't a high volume search. You might consider others.

Here are some Overture.com results for "video games". These are searches per last month: (game and games are the same on overture, use games.)

    online video game 8920
    play online video game 4379

    video game rental 729352
    video game 598149
    video game cheat 58351
    video game console 32883
    video game system 31781
    computer video game 18016
    video game store 17894
    video game review 14998
    video game chair 14845
game game general toy video 13400
    video game cheat code 12567
    free video game 10764
