I was doing really good a couple of weeks ago (25+ keywords on page 1) and now I am 99+ pages for all keywords with Google. I have no idea what happened to my site. My sub pages are listed before my home page. The SEO company I use said it happens and that Google changed some things but said my site will come back. Anyone have any suggestions on what may of caused this? how long does it usuall take for sites to come back to where they were? I am new to all this stuff and between, backlinks, meta tags, keywords, content, page rank etc....my head is spinning and not sure how to correct the issue. www.punkbebe.com
If its just happend today, give it approx 48 hours, then check your keywords again. This type of thing can happen and should return to normal. If the problem remains after approx 48hours, then you might have been penalised. If you have been penalised ask the seo company to explain why. Utilising good acceptable SEO techniques should not cause these types of problems. You also have an error when your click the logo on your homepage. Its a link error and easy to correct. Good Luck.
I manage 30+ websites and it never happens to those sites. It's only normal for those using questionable SEO techniques. Re your website: You have a large amount of hidden text and hidden links on your home page (view source and you will see it just below the half way mark). If your SEO person installed it then they are to blame for your rank dropping. You'll be lucky if your site isn't banned, and if so send in a reinclusion report and tell Google who did it--give names, or Google won't listen.
I did a search on my site's title and it is still listed...isn't that how you tell if your site has been banned? What is a long time? more than a 2 weeks?
How new is your site? Some times when a new site get a lot of links to its subpages, it google shows the subpages before the main page. As long as your domain is listed in Google, there are no need to worry. Make sure that all the subpages links back to mainpage.
Be patient, that's all I can say. It probably just hasn't established itself as a quality authority site yet and that takes time. Keep posting and building links, you'll get there in the end Josh
hi, what i would recommend is to wait for couple of days and just look at the situation. If it stays the same, than look from an explanation. Still, many keywords might look spammy and you should ask for the SEO company why it has happened. If after some days the situation does not change, than you should really ask for the SEO company for an explanation. But have in mind the Google is not perfect either! regards
I doubt your site is sandboxed, have you added any articles or have gotten links? As in articles, did you pay for a service to publish a bunch of articles?
it sucks basically just kidding dude your doin good keep monitoring the traffic and seo the crap out of it
Here is a thought? Check out who you are linked to. You are linked to very low PR sites and some Google might not like. Consider using "rel='nofollow'" on these links to save your Page rank. And are the linking games here really needed? "From unique baby clothes to toddler T's, Punk Bebe offers a cool and funky selection of cute baby shirts, funny baby clothes and infant onesies. Great prices on black onesies." (i.e. repeated use of http://www.punkbebe.com/shirts.html) And is it really needed to have ~25 links to http://www.punkbebe.com/shirts.html on the home page with different Title attributes. Maybe Google thinks this is SPAM? Oh, "right click" doesn't block us. Finally, if you paid someone for the SEO work, get your money back.
hi what I also noticed in your page is that your subpages have irrelevant names to your main topic reconsider this for the future regards
