Hello, My website is http://www.smartmindmedia.com I get between 400-500 unique daily visitors and 4000-5000 daily page views. I wanted to try to get some CPM advertising going with these companies: http://burstmedia.com/ http://fastclick.com/ http://casalemedia.com/ All three companies denied my website. They don't really tell you why. All three companies have their requirements listed on their sites. As far as I can tell my site seems to qualify. Any suggestions or ideas welcome. Thanks
This is considered offensive to some and that could be why they denied you. Many companies, especially larger respectable ones, don't want to be associated with offensive services/content. Some don't care too, but a network needs to play the majority card. Could be something else, but I noticed this within 8 seconds of loading your website.
I took a look at your site, and I don't see why any of those companies would find it offensive. It does not directly show porn nor is it a gambling site. I think those companies are just being bone heads. I don't think you need them. If you are getting 500 uniques a day you should be making a good amount of money from Adsense and text link ads. I notice you have no adsense or yahoo ads. In any event, I wouldn't worry about those companies rejecting you. I've been rejected before too, but primarily because my site's were seen as being "competitive."
imo it's probably the link to this website funnyinside*com and at your friends page there are lots of poker links.
I think I will remove all the links in the friends-miscellaneous links page. This was a page I setup for link exchanges but most of the links I end up getting requests to exchange are poker sites or other crappy content. I have google adsense on every page except the first page. It is a banner at the top of every page. For the past 4 days I have 15,553 impressions which has earned me $0.60 That is with 13 clicks. Maybe I need to make the adsense links more appealling and less like a banner at the top of the page.
The reason could also be that they simply already have enough sites in your specific niche (joke sites). FastClick rejected one of my sites because of this. But why dont you just send them an email and ask them directly?
Yea, email or better yet, call them. Establish yourself as a professional. I like the idea of too many joke sites already.
FastClick doesnt have any joke advertisments in their system (well thats what they told me when i tried to submit my joke site)
This thread has shown there could be many reasons for denial. Perhaps they don't want joke sites. Contacting them is the best route.
Hi, Perhaps they didn't like something from your privacy policy. I submitted one site some time ago and also was rejected. Thanks to their rejection I found the world of adsense. my two cents.
they are extremely picky. You may find that it is not worth the headache to purue these types of revenue. Any other marketing ideas that you have followed?
