hello i started a dentistry blog about 6 months ago i have a unique, long and informative 30 article. the visitors count is fixed to around 50 unique visitors/day and didn't increased for the last 4 months. it was pr3 then dropped to pr2 last update. i have about 200 good link. what i am doing wrong here is the link dental-care.speakasp.net
You have done nothing wrong, but you have done nothing instead. SEO is a continues process that need your consistency all the times. You may concentrate on link building but you may not learn about the changes made in Google. I think you may consider to change the way you got links since those links may not worth anymore. Your site has a little old age, plus only a subdomain. You have to put 200% in effort compared to common website to got them good ranked in Google first page.
PR has nothing to do with SERPS. Research your keywords and create content based around that phrase. Get more backlinks with targeted anchor text containing your keywords. Be patient, dentistry is a very high competition area. It'll be tough...
thanks did you checked my links?? i tried many ways to get links i do articles sub, even i have about 3 articles listed on ezinearticles, a little blog commenting, rss syndication social bookmarking and forums posting. The main issue here. is my website visitors considered normal with my blog age and the amount of content i have?? i also ranking well for a keyword or two that has a medium competition. but sometimes it works and i get a good rank and sometimes i can't with no apparent reason
Read this article carefully... http://www.problogger.net/archives/2005/08/15/search-engine-optimization-for-blogs/ I hope this will help you a LOT...
PR drop means you lost some backlinks. not because you have anything wrong with your site or have done anything wrong yourself. dont just sit tight adding 30 articles. keep adding more articles on a regular basis if possible, occasionally atleast. continue to build backlinks til you get ranked. depending on which keywords you are targeting, 4 months may not be enough to get ranked top 10. keep up the good work and sooner or later you will get ranked high. just a matter of time and how much effort you put into it.
are the backlinks you are adding to the site related? i doubt they are. so the answer to your question add related backlinks. add new content add new article to sites. the thing with seo is you need to keep at it all the time. try taking out a monthly seo contract. also dont forget pr is not the be all end all. you want higher ranking in the serch engines not higher pr
i think my links are related. most of the links are from articles that i submit about the same subject that i target to class A human edited article directories like ezinearticles..
