What is wrong with Adbrite?

Dumped them over 2 months ago for the same stuff! Never could get anything to work correctly.

 

Adbrite are gone for me also. Again a similar story (so this pattern seems to be a community wide issue). Had $122 or so last week, logged in for a lovely total of $5.69 - hmmmmm what on earth happened.

Register a support ticket and make complaints...

 

It sounds like they are pulling the old technical problems scam and are pilfering everyones hardearned earnings, a class action lawsuit should come out of this.

 

I'm seeing so many CPM's on my ad's yet hardly ANY conversions! As in clicks then to conversions. So yeah, its kind of looking bad right now, any other suggested ad networks besides AdEngage, BlackLabelAds, Adster, etc.?

 

My daily earnings slowly dropped over the past month so I switched back from Adbrite interstitials to Zango gateways.

 

Adbrite SUCKS. 'Nuff said.

 

I have already taken out Adbrite.

For instance, what would you say if you got 5000 impressions and zero clicks in a few days? I understand there are impression ads, and I have enabled them. But cpc ads got more than a thousand impressions and got still zero clicks. In four days, my earnings was 0.04 dollars. What the heck!

One more thing. All the ads were placed right below my post titles, and also please note I have a CTR of nearly 2 per cent from adsense.

I enquired adbrite people about it and got a prompt reply back saying "enable auto approval" other types of ads like context links, full page ads, etc.

I am quite against full page ads, and context links I already have from kontera. So, I would do only CPC and normal CPM. And their executive asked me to place ads in a prominent position. What is a better prominent position than right below the post title at the very top? When I had adsense placed that way, I had ctr of nearly 3. I laughed up Adbrite and just removed their code

The tip: don't use Adbrite or bidvertiser. They merely don't count your clicks and pay you. They want money and wont pay you a penny. You will just sit seeing the ads being displayed and nothing will happen. Also, most of the time, adbrite will show only "advertise here powered by adbrite" on their banners even if the advertisers have money for more impressions. They just don't have enough customers now and need more and retain money. don use them.

 

I agree that something is amiss here. I enquired and they told me that the stats aren't impressions but ad zone views. Nevertheless I received 16,000+ "ad zone" views the other day, have many advertisers approved and earned a whopping $0.00. I enquired once again and received another cryptic response stating that there were many factors which determined monthly earnings. I have absolutely no idea what is going on and I'm not impressed thus far. Thankfully I don't rely on them for revenue and it was an experiment really. I'm searching for a more reliable CPM company now. Any suggestions?

 

exactly my thoughts, if some one were to build a site abrite-steals.com and gets it listed high on google, then i have some screen shots to donate, and the guy who went from over $100 to $5 that is totally sick. Have you got screen shots of that? What the heck have they said about this?

 

Adbrite is ripping me too,

8-30-2008 was $0.65 now it's $0.15 and yesterday is $0.00

 

Abrite really sucks now a days there Stats System would not be fine, i think so

 

I got the right stats in "Daily Stats" but it gives me wrong stats in earnings, which one should I trust then

 

anyone had an update from adbrite about this situation? still not fixed for me previous earning still decreasing daily?????

I'm shocked i can't find more about this situation on the web, seems like this is the only place people have started talking about this.

Lost $400 last month due to there mess ups.. im not going to just move on.

 

I don't like Adbrite, pay per click is too low, I use Adsense, CrispAds, and Bidvertiser
