What is wrong with Adbrite?

We have performed an extensive database update recently so it may occur that some earnings were deducted from your account due to advertisers not being able to pay, some invalid clicks or impressions. An invalid click is a non-billable click that can be caused by a variety of sources. Sources include non-malicious clicks and impressions from search robots, internet spiders, or double clicks, or more malicious causes.


Oh well that's over 50% of last month rev gone and a fair chunk of this months. What a joke, getting rid of this junk off of my pages asap. Also gonna post this experience at every chance i get.

This doesn't sound good for Adbrite. I currently use Adsense and have been so for the past 3 years - never had a problem. But lately people have suggested I use Adbrite...now I'm not too sure.

I'm sure of one thing, may be you peeps aren't the best peeps to ask whether or not I should fully embrace Adbrite

i have some screens showing what i mean, seriously last month was over $50 i checked daily since i was new to adbrite, then around about the middle of this month i suddenly noticed the totals for this month and last had just decreased by over 50%.

With the explanation from adbrite it really means you can never be sure of what you are earning will ever be paid to you. I mean i was over the $100 payout threshold and now ....whoops way under again. I'm sure this would just keep happing with the pathetic same excuses i'm getting now.

I've had about 3 different replies all with different explanations from adbrite, they don't really know what is happening over there. It's a mess, and has anyone got their invideo ads working and getting paid for it. Been waiting for a reply on this forever.

What other ppc places are there that accept adult traffic that actually pay and not just vanish most of your earnings when it gets near to the payout?

 

For some reason $400 is gone from my adbrite account this month.. what the hell is going on!

I was making $50+/day now its showing $3 and sometimes 0.

If they dont pay the correct amount they will have a law suit on there hands.

 

I am getting to a stage that i am thinking of totally junking Adbrite as it seems that all i am doing is showing there ads for nothing in return which is not sound as a Business model i will give it till monday then i will seriously look for something else to replace it,the trouble is what do you replace it with ???

May I ask what program do you use with AdBrite, CPM or PPC and how much visitors do you get daily? You can PM me if you want to.

I have a slight different problem with AdBrite. Yesterday, after a year or so, I logged in and 2,84$ were still there but for some reason the website always directs me to http instead of https so I can't do anything because it's blank if I use unsafe protocol.

 

Ok this may sound dumb but what is adbrite?
I could go the the website but thought maybe
if they had an affiliate program I'd sign up under
someone here if I like the program that is.

i just have 9$ in my account and stopped to work as they give very low revenue

i think to work with google or other networks is better

 

It's an ad publishing program like Adsense, but they have more than just contextual ads. Read a review in my signature.

 

any word back from adbrite to anyone here about when they will be fixing this and repairing all the lost revenue? I mean if this is happening to everyone they must be doing something about it or else most people will leave?

I use CPM and adbrite is giving a $0.01 CPM to me now.. i get around 100K uniques per day between all my sites..

 

it is an ad site like google adsence but not as good or effective, adbrite.com I use it on a few of my sites that google didnt like, doesnt really make any money and thier stats are wierd etc etc
nobody can post affiliate links for you since its against DP TOS but I am sure people will PM you a few, if your curious just go to the site, sign up and check out for your self, then you can come back to these threads and get involved in the discussions

yes i thought there was definitely something wrong with adbrite over the past 2 days, it might update itself though? or if there is a problem with reporting on their end then i do hope we're compensated for the period adbrite showed incorrect/inaccurate stats.

 

there is something seriously wrong with adbrite... their ads have stopped working for a few days now, this is major loss of money...

i only gave adbrite a try after seeing fairly good reviews on this site, but seeing how the revenue from them is significantly lower than others like adsense and clicksor, i'm going to move my business elsewhere

 

I sent them a support ticket.. no response.. bye bye adbrite.
