What is with it?

    What is with Blogging and all these Joomla and WordPress websites? I understand the concept of forums but not the concept of these dynamic driven blogs

    The point is you are blogger, you can't live with that CMS stuff. They can make you comfortable, happy, easy, and make money for blogging.

    difference between blog and forum is Forums are created for discussion between several people while Blogs are mainly designed for a single user input, with possibility for other people to comment.Blog owner can choose weather or not to make comments visible to the public.

    Well I understand what the difference is between them but I am wondering what the big deal with them is. Is it better than forums?

    One is not better than the other.They are 2 different things.

    Joomla and Wordpress are merely CMS's (Content Management Systems) or plainly put... publishing platforms that people use to publish their website or blog.
    No need to think too much into it...they are what people use to run their website. Just like when people used Dreaweaver or MS Frontpage to build a website.
