What is Web 2.0 Standard?

Even if design is not directly mentioned it can be inferred because intercommunication as you mentioned in your original post has to be planned first which is a form of design. Then of course theres the technology involved which allows this communication to happen and then you have the way this information is presented, which is most easily attributed to the way Information Architects or Web Designers design mediums to present it. But I believe we both know that the Web 2.0 is

I take this as a compliment thanks. I usually never post threads because I can always find the answer somewhere, also reading before posting is common courtesy otherwise you look like and ill informed idiot trying to jump into an A and B conversation and I hate when people do that.

 

What makes you think that people care about your 'authoritative' definition? And what makes you think that you can hijack a man's thread and start insulting people who contribute?

 

This is true. But a further explanation is that the term web 2.0 is about the next generation of web design/development that we are currently experiencing. For example CMS sites that are interactive instead of the of static sites, as well as new technologies as ajax, json, etc....oh and don't forget all the new social networks.

For web 3.0 I believe we should start seeing the semantic web start to arrive.
