Hi This might be a basic question, but i do hear people mentioning web 2.0 quite a lot when refering to building links and seo.What exactly is it referring to?and how does it benefit seo? thanks for the help!!
Web 2.0 is a big topic with lots of different meanings. But in terms of link building for SEO, mostly people are just referring to social media and user-generated content sites, which can be useful for generating links - either by the 'white hat' way of getting your customers to talk about you and generate content that links to you, or by the more 'black hat' method of generating lots of content on these sites yourself with links for the sole purpose of helping your pages rank more effectively.
