    I find dream weaver to be clunky, but sometimes you've got to use it. It's also a standard that everyone should at least have some experience with. But when it comes down to it, notepad++ does the job and you can get a portable version of it and stick it on a usb drive :)

    If the software is available to me I'd prefer to use Adobe Dreamweaver CS3/CS4, as the code highlighting and code view section are great. However if not, I can work with Notepad or Notepad++(code highlighting), but they are much simpler versions of software.
