Sooo, I use msn messenger, and all is dandy until like a couple weeks ago I couldn't get in, I am like alright cool some connection problem either on my end or msn's... Now I have certainly found out that some bird brain is "freezing" my e-mail so I am unable to sign into msn messenger... They use a tool which "freezing" is to bruteforce basically but it's goal for this task is not to actually guess the password, but send a ton of password attempts to an e-mail so it freezes and won't let anyone sign in. This is like totally messed up, I have no idea who it is, like I will ever find out ... but anyways did anyone ever encounter this and find a way to stop this from happening? I e-mail msn live many times and they say we can't do anything, it's like they never encountered this issue yet there are tons of pages of this happening when I searched on google. Anyways, I know everyone is like super smart here , sooo does anyone have a solution or anything to make the matter better? Thanks a ton, your input is very helpful Take care
Happened to me as well, i just downloaded the previous version, it seems if you updated to the newest one, some eople had problems.
Hey mitcharr, I tried with windows live messenger just to see if it was the msn messenger I was using, and I get this message: So unfortunately I think it is someone purposely being an ass and freezing my e-mail
Do you use that tool that has the unfreeze option too? If you do does the unfreeze work? Yeah I try to wait it out but they keep it frozen!!
