Well your site clearly is optimised for "Pedal car" and not "pedal cars".

Most of your post is pretty incoherant but it sounds like you've added links and your ranking on SERPs has dropped. Care to explain how you added/bought links?

It is not just adding links. Links must be from sites relevant to your content/industry, and must come from a site with a high PR. I was linking left to right in the past. No success. I was ignoring all this before, but as soon as I did what I have to, our sites started to climb. Good luck.

Hi chip, I'm going to take issue with your use of the word "must". I agree
that links which are surrounded by related text probably carry more weight,
but I would not say that links MUST be from relevant content pages. Also,
I agree that higher PR links are super, but there is nothing wrong with getting
links from pages of equal PR and less PR.

After all, if we did what Google tells us to: have content that is usefull to
others, then others will link to our sites and we would have NO control over
    the factors that you've mentioned.

For speedier results one could visit my sig. LOL

    Bompa,

I disagree with the part "...nothing wrong with getting links from pages of equal PR and less PR.."
I personally wont link to somebody with a lower PR. Done that in the past linking to anybody who offer me a link. Maybe you are right.
It is just my humble opinion.

I agree with Bompa in several occassions. Natural links usually come from web page with less PR and I don't mind if someone gives me that. And yes, I got many loyal visitors, not only from SEs so there is nothing wrong with links from less PR. You said you won't link to somebody with a lower PR. Well, I link to a web page that I like, I don't even look at their PRs. The case could be different if you are talking about link exchange. But still, PR is only one factor. You must also consider the amount of external links in that web page (which you want to link to, etc.)

I made the mistake of buying 100 manually directory submissions and dropped from PR4 to PR3 and from page 2 to 10. So from now on only link exchange.

Have patience and don't build links too fast and then stop because it doesn't look good to any search engine.

man, that's an insane comment you got in there.
    - Why won't you?
    - Have you got a major site in top 3 in serp's to back that theory?

love to hear your thoughts on those questions chipT :)

Traffic is even more important and I think he would link to a site which can send him many visitors even if it's PR0:D

that's one of my thoughts... besides PR is almost dead and will be dead in a few months/years i believe. There's so much scamms involving PR theses days...
