I had the winning bid on a specific domain over a month ago..They got their money..and now my account is "disabled" and the domain is reg'd to some other company...I sent them an email and got no response...Any idea's what that is all about?? I was the winning bidder therefor the domain should be mine..correct?

do you have emails and screenshots (proof) that you won?

    sounds strange to me.

maybe the "some other company" is the original registrant, and they got it back during the "grace period?"

    just guessing...

well I could have screenshots easily if I could get into my account. The last time I was in my account it showed that I was the winner..I have the bank statement showing they got the exact amount of the winning bid..I was a little shocked myself

    that really sucks.

i recently won a name at TDNAM... i kept all the emails along the way, and took screenshots of the auction, winning notification etc. just in case.

not that guarantees anything... but it might have helped if there was a dispute.

P.S. after i won the name, TDNAM informed me that the "owner" STILL had 2 weeks to claim the domain - that was already expired for a MONTH.

turns out, they didn't re-claim it, and i got it - 2 weeks later.

    BEST OF LUCK,

Thanks for the info DomainLoot. I know now and in the future will ALWAYS take screenshots and save emails. Thankfully, I do have the bank statement..Im still bedazled about my account being disabled though..I mean, that was litterally the first domain I bid on...I created my account and verified and everything..then made about 4 bids on domains and only won this one in perticular...they got their money no problem...so..why the **** would my account get disabled? I didn't break any policies...and on top of that..even with the company "reclaiming" the domain or whatever..shouldn't they have refunded my money? I mean I didn't pay them to let me think I was the owner..

This is going to have to be a big thumbs down to enom right here..Keep this in mind fellow domainers if you are thinking about creating an account there..

I've sent them another email..we'll see if they respond to this one

There's a chance they've reason to believe your account was "fraudulent" for
whatever reason. I can't imagine any other reason other than their trying to
pull a fast one, which unfortunately isn't easy to demonstrate without actual
    proof.

For the most part, registrars lock and/or close accounts due to any potential
fraudulent activity. The least they'd do is refund the money.

Good luck trying to get your issue resolved. But I'm sorry to say no one will do
anything to "get the domain name back for you."

However bullkaka it is, they've likely covered their behinds with their legal fine
prints. And you agree to them once you clicked that checkbox.
