Yes the paying thing will turn this site bad (that topic has been disscussed before), All the site needs is what i suggested above 2 sections Established Sites and Turnkey/Fresh sites.

Thanks i hope Admin can do this for us so it makes life easy.

Also one other thing there should be one more called Want to Buy forum aswell.

    Great suggestions :)

Proxys have become popular over the last few weeks I believe as more are ditching them as it's bad for adsense (or so iv heard).

    I dont agree(First, I myself do that work...lol)

There can be a sub forum but they must not be stopped. Why is there problem if the buyers dont have problem, sellers dont have, then?

Why read the proxy site sale thread when we arent interested?

I also have to add in that as I browse the sales section all I see are proxies and directories, therefore now the b/s/t section has become a in-attractive and more boring community to be in.

I think there should be a subforum for everything related to proxies. Including site sales, advertising, domains, templates, etc.

One of the reasons for a mass of proxy site sale threads is a lot of proxies hit a high at some point and then the owners sell because of the risk of a low as the sites start to then get blocked.

The amusing thing is people are actually paying alot of money for these 1 week old, free script, 99c domain proxies.

The Site Sales would go good splitting it in to 2 sections, Under $500 & Over $500

Your budget Directories, Proxies etc can go in 1 and serious sites in the other.

Inclusion for Budget Sites could be: BIN of Less then $500 & Starting Bid of under $500 if no BIN set.

I don't think you can do this on price, but certainly new/turnkey sites vs established.

you can't divide on price because value is in the eye of the seller.
seriously, plain and simple, move the proxies to their very own separate forum, we're sick of having to surf inner pages to reach something unrelated.

Huh, it's in the eyes of everyone if a BIN is over or under $500.

I have to bring this thread up again to the top. The sites for sale section should be split into Turnkey and Established. As it is I have to suft 15 pages or to read all of the websites for sale. Its really annoying now the whole front page is AutoBlogs, Proxys, 10$ websites and templates.

It would make a lot of sense to add in a sub forum - Is there any moderators reading this thread if so what do you think? (Ive never seen a moderators post on DP...)

True very true. Something should be done to make this community better, instead of most of the staff on Digital Point never replying to the users feedback and ideas to make DigitalPoint a better place, maybe you don't want it to be any better?

Maybe choose a long time poster to be an Admin of the Marketplace section and they can work with the people from that section to make it better for everyone... Is any mods reading these ideas?

I also agree that there are too many proxies in the BST forums. I also really like the idea of an Established Sites and New Sites sub-forum. I have been trying to find an established website to buy and this would help me out.

Proxies are obviously to easy to make and sell, and because they are popular people will sell loads of them. I myself have no problem with all the sales threads, I enjoy going through them.
