What is happening with google adwords?

I signed up for an account nearly 4 weeks ago, everything is active and as it should be as per normal. I have a friend who has used adwords for years and he cant get his head around it!!

Ive emailed google, posted questions in the help forum and im pulling my hair out!!

Google just send automated emails so as far as asking them for help, i'd be as well asking my dog...

The best response ive had from the help forum is...google has a virus...will take em years to fix..

To date, account is showing active, no clicks no impressions...
    Any Ideas?

It must be something to do with their layoffs of personnel.
I have been using them for quite some time and all of a sudden they seem very slow to respond to anything.

You may want to consider to revisit your keywords and bid $

Hmmm maybe you need to research your keywords more? I'm not sure most probably google's problem!

Customer Service is very poor. They give preference to those who spend more on adwords. I have more than 5 clients at the moment and I have well experience of their customer service.

On occasions the bid price for one of my particular keywords may say minimum 10c bid to be on the first page. When it is busy and this is a competitive kw I can bid up to 16 or 17c and still not be on the first page. It's all about what the competition are doing at the same time!! Other times 12 or 13c puts me in pos 3 (which is in my opinion the most profitable).

That said you should still be getting a few impressions!!

I have emailed them twice about an ad of mine that has been under review for over 3 weeks now. I'm not even getting a kiss my ass response from them.
My account is still active as my other ads are running.

I have been trying Yahoo out a little bit. I got plenty of clicks with very few conversions compared to Google so I set up tracking for duplicate clicks. I found many of them from Yahoo. I emailed Yahoo and within an hour they called me on the phone. I showed them my tracking stats along with the duplicate IPs and they showed me their stats. Some of the duplicates where filtered out but nearly 40% of the clicks I was charged for were duplicates. Yahoo seems to be on the right track but their click fraud protection isn't as good as Google's I think.
