What is transaction limit of paypal

    I have verified my first paypal A/C through credit card. I'm from India now I want to know,

    Is there any transaction limit for indians?
    How much fund can I transfer to my Indian Bank through paypal monthly??

    Well if you are having personal PayPal account, then certainly there are some limits on your accounts. You can read their policies HERE

    This will give you brief idea about your PayPal limits and your rights as buyer and seller.

    You should better upgrade to Premier account to enjoy all the facilities of a PayPal account as of now there is no benefit in keeping a Personal account !

    Try to shift your paypal account from personal to premier.
    There is no limit of withdrawl once you have confirmed and make your paypal account, verified.

    Yes, there are limits in PayPal account. However, you can always raise limits a bit. You can view current account limits by logging on to your PayPal account and going to limits section.

    This section should also contain further instructions how to raise existing limits.

    The maximum amount allowed for a single transaction is $10,000 USD by a PayPal member.

    If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can send a maximum of $4,000 USD for a one-time, single transaction.

    For PayPal members living outside the U.S., the maximum transaction limit depends on the currency in use:

    Your withdrawal limit is the total amount of money you can withdraw from an unverified PayPal account. ( 500 USD Withdrawal Limit and 3000 USD Total Check Withdrawal Limit for unverified users) If your account is verified, you will not have a withdrawal limit. (*2500 USD per month for verified users)

    If your account is unverified, here's how you can view and lift the withdrawal limit.

    1. Log in to your PayPal account.
    2. Click the My Account tab.
    3. On the Account Overview page, click the View Limits link.
    4. The remaining amount you can send is listed under the Withdrawal Limit heading.
    5. To lift your limit, follow the instructions on the Withdrawal Limit page.

    In case you are using PayPal to accept online payments and the monthly balances are large, you may want to up the limit of 2500 USD (for Verified Users) to 10,000 USD by following the instructions below.

    You'll need to fax the following to PayPal:

    1. A copy of your passport or national identification.

    2. A copy of your bank statement showing your information as it appears on your business checks. This information should also match the name and address reflected on your PayPal account.

    3. The email address registered to your account.

    Fax this information to the following:

    Attn: Global Services

    Please make sure that the (copies of the) documents are clear and readable. PayPal usually responds after 2 days.
