    Keep in mind that if there aren't competitive AdWords keywords associated with your site, each of these clicks could be costing the ad owners as low as 5 cents, which could be even less than that for you. I'd say either keep persisting with this site or make another site (or subsite) with more competitive keywords. Maybe try monetizing this one in a more profitable way for your keyword.
