What is this site that people are being paid to click on my website?

After looking in my stats I have had a hell of a lot of traffic from this site

    http://www.golddownline.com

After reading through it people get paid for clicking on certain sites, mine being one of them it looks like. Can anyone give me any details, as I have adsense out there I don't want to be paying for people clicking on my ads or anything. It could be totally innocent, but why would they get paid for clicking on my site, someone must be paying them.

Any ideas on what this site is?

    Thanks Paul

I'm getting a lot of clicks from it too, on my landing page through clickbank. The "recent came from" page in statcounter shows a clickbank hoplink and the golddownline link. When I click on that, it takes me to that member's private control area, showing their name, email, snail mail address, earnings etc.

I tried to email the website owner to alert them to check their coding, but the email bounced...

Is it possible that someone is trying to get you banned from adsense? Traffic from Paid to Click/Read programs aren't appreciated by Google.

I've a such site which is called "eurobarre" (French site). After having subscribed, you install the bar, they put some ads, when you are interesting in one ad you click on it and they share the money at the end of each month... I use it since 2 years, for the moment, it seems to work...

Please use my link to register your account:

Looks like a illegal business of some sort. Send them a cease and desist order if you are scared of getting banned from adsense.

The system do not work based on adsense. I don't know exactly which are all the ads publishers. I know they are several. It may have made their own homemade partnership also. I do agree if it was based on adsense, it would have been illegal and the system would have ceased since a long time. I think the system exist since more than 5 years (to be confirmed ?).

As I am quite new in DP, I didn't know that it was forbiden to put an affiliate link in DP. Sorry for that. I've to spend more time in the rules of DP.

May I remove this post or edit it to remove the affiliate link ?

    Thanks for your advice.

Sorry again, but after re reading the post who receive an infraction (yes it hurt my self-esteem )...

... when I said "I've a such site" I would like to precise "I've seen a such site" because I am not the owner of this site but an ordinary user.

you might be looking at something similar to http://www.wordlinx.com/index.php
the advertiser pay wordlinx for ads, and part of it goes to wordlinx members who clicked on the ads. sounds pretty cheap to me, you are paying for visitors to visit your site for 20 seconds and also for the network that provides this.
maybe u joined some sort of scheme w/o knowing it. some 3rd party marketing service?

and yes, having an infraction hurts, esp when its your first post in this forum like me:D oh wait, maybe it doesn't hurt once you are used to this forum, its strict in here

Be careful with such sites, if you have adsense on your site, Google will be ban you quickly because the don't accept traffic from autosurf program.

I have nothing to do with this site, so how do I be careful? I am pretty sure I have never signed up for anything knowly or un-knowly, this is what is worrying me. By the way I do not place adsense on any of my sites.
