I am one of these advertisers on this site http://budseeds.com/ I have been getting traffic and paying .15 a click. What I want to know is: How are they getting traffic, they have no pages indexed except 1. Are the people just from typing in the URL directly for some reason? Why does it not show "Sponsored By Google Adwords" This site only says "sponsored listings" In general, please describe what these people are doing to make money. I am tired of paying them and wouldn't mind doing what they are doing.
its basically like a "paid parking" service google allows advertisers that can send lots of hits a different ad placement ( thats why you dont see the "ads by google" thing ) so they likely pay the owner of that domain a percentage of profits godaddy offers this service if you want to dabble in it. its called "godaddy cash parking"
but how does a one page site like that get traffic? Are you telling me that it is from people who are actually typing in the domain exactly? So, someone buys up URLs they think are worthwhile. hosts them all on one massive server and hopes that someone types in the domain name. They target the keywords on the site and sell adsense while they wait for someone to buy the domain? Obviously they need to make more than $10 a year to cover domain renewal and hosting.
oh they do, they advertise on adsense or other network with catchie ad title and paying pennies per click. Once the visitor get to the site (from click on some low paying ad) the visitor tend to click on their ad (which you see is everywhere) that are supposed to pay higher than the pennies click that lured the visitor. So the owner earns the difference. In other words, your ad is just a way for the visitor to escape from that site. I recommend you block your ad from showing on sites like this. These are parasite of the internet i wish them burn in hell.

The way in which you can make big profit in this business is by having a lot of domains, which isnt easy considering you need to cover registration fees each year, having a few premium domains, these being domains in which are worth in excess of £500 or so, and get a lot of traffic per day. i don´t like this type of advertising. In my adsense account i block all the advertisers for the domain parking.
