A friend has been gaining everyday 0.01 and 0.02$ per click for about 2 months, for a page! Of course he doesn't clik his own banners and he doesn't know why.
Of course are low paying ads But I thought Google couldn't pay so low. I thought about 0.05$ per clic, but when site is not related they paid a minimum of 0.03$. 0.01$ is nothing. So my friend will have to eliminate AdSense ads... What is the minimum an advertiser must pay per click?
I thought it is 0.01$...at least for Indian advertisers they give option of 0.44 INR which works out to be 0.01$. Does the minimum amount vary for different countries?
Yeah, it does. In the UK, the minimum was 0.04 GBP while at the same time in the US the minimum bid was 0.04 USD ~ worked out about double to place a bid in the UK than the US. I imagine it's the same elsewhere too.
Maybe advertisers think his visitors are worthless. What is the general topic of the site? I imagine he is in a very low-paying segment and is also being hit by smart-pricing because his traffic is not converting.
I don't know... Sometimes goes up and sometimes down, but since last september pay per clic is very low. Site has about 700 unique visits a day, http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/adsense-sandbox/ shows plenty of advertisers, and a CTR is up to 10%, so I don't know why AdSense is not working.
You said before .. so what you do to get out this horrible payout .. rearrange the text on the page or anything else
