If you visit http://sonyps4.com/ and scroll half way down the page, you will see each blog post has an image thumbnail located to the left of the content. I've been searching for how to do this for some time with no luck. Is this a custom plugin, or simply a piece of code? (For the record, I'm using exactly the same theme as the website I've listed as an example.) WebDev
Looks like that site uses the Revolution Church theme for Wordpress and that the theme has the function you are talking about as a built-in feature. Having posts look like that on the front page is not something you have to get that specific theme for (I know of a couple other themes that have that type of function built in, Suffusion comes to mind). You could code it yourself if you have the desire and time to do so, fitting it into any theme you wanted.
If the theme doesn't have this built in you can probably use this plugin to help: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/thumbnail-for-excerpts/
In computing, a plug-in (or plugin) is a set of software components that adds specific abilities to a larger software application. If supported, plug-ins enable customizing the functionality of an application. For example, plug-ins are commonly used in web browsers to play video, scan for viruses, and display new file types. Well-known plug-ins examples include Adobe Flash Player, QuickTime, and Microsoft Silverlight.
