The most memorable was a thumbtack, the kind with the flat head: It went "thunk" right into the sole of my foot, kind of like pushing through leather to a soft spot. There it was, right in solid to the hilt and I had to try to pull it back out. That was an urgent moment for sure. Ugh what a thread! ~tasty
I did the same thing, but I was climbing over a bobwire fence and I landed on the other side heard the rattler and I jumped back to the other side, I dont even know how I did it cause it was in a ditch so It was on the edge of the ditch so I cleared like 7 feet in a straight up jump... But worst I ever stepped on was a large screw. It was in a piece of wood, i was trying to be a daredevil jumping from this tree to a wood platform and it stuck out of the bottom of my foot, the fire department had to cut the board because it had gotten stuck on my bone. The doctors ended up screwing it out..... I still have a cool scar on top of my foot, the bottom is barely visable....
hmm, one time I walked in to my bathroom (tile floor) and stepped on a huge spider bare foot. It made this loud crunchin noise so I flipped the light on reallll quick, and it was heading towards my foot, with a missing leg. It was really a trooper, he was obviously pissed off and coming for revenge.
Did they amputate it? I know my mate cut the tip of his finger off, he ended up losing that entire finger to nerve damage.
when i was little i was running in a field in flip flops, stepped on a board with a huge nail in it...went in the bottom, out the top and broke one of the bones in my foot
I once stepped on a crab bare foot. I found out that crabs don't bloody let go! So there I am hopping along the beech yelling in pain with a huge crab clinging to my big toe. My mate was a true friend though, he as lying on the beech laughing his head off.
