what is the value of noffollow and do follow coment link?

Do you people think that blog comment link has good value in the eyes of SE. If I get a link from content page and the link is from within the content and another link I got from a blog comment.

Then for which link I will get more value? I think I will get more value for the content page link which is coming within the content.

and does we go for no follow link? what kind of value we will get from nofollow link. we know that google can not crawl the nofollow the link and does not give value. so should we accept Nofollow link?

    Please Give your opinion.

Will not get any Back links from google and in the case SE there is no value, but a chance of getting direct hit from it. But dofollow gives direct traffic as well Back links too

A link to your site is still a link to your site no matter followed or not! Links will get you traffic and don't forget - only Google uses no-follow. Yahoo and MSN will still value your link.

Google is the biggest guy on search market while others only get less than 20%. Dofollow link is better than no follow link, it give both direct traffic and PR juice.

Let's face it: any link you can add yourself is looked upon with suspicion by Google. Links that appear to have been added by another webmaster are always the best.

Its a pretty obvious thing that no-follow links are quite useless in terms of providing responses or ranks. So do-follows are best to do with. And the thing that link matters more in content or comment is depends on the relevancy of that link with the content. If link is relevant to the content of blog ,it always matters in all ways.

Well, NoFollow comment will do pretty much nothing. They come from low PR internal pages with many other external links, so...
DoFollow links from blogs that not many people comment are much better. However most of the times they're unrelated to your niche.

no follow has minimum value, since it will only benefit your traffic (depends on link location PR/visability/site) since it will only benefit you once its clicked

I still can't believe Google places NO value on nofollow links. I bet they do SOMETHING with them, even if it's to negatively rate the site :) But more likely they do apply a SMALL weighting to nofollowed anchor links, just in case - I can't prove that, but I would be surprised if they took them at face value. Probably no harm in doing nofollow commenting, but still, probably should not be the main focus.

Nofollow only provide you a link which can bring trafic to your website.
Dofollow can help on both SERP and PR but nofollow wouldnt

nofollow is good if you want some hits from bigger sites. They don't give any other value though. Keep it in mind.

Nofollow will not hurt you. Google has already stated that there is almost nothing that another can do to your website to hurt it. If nofollows hurt your site than this could easily be manipulated by competitors.

I use a tool called searchcast to bring in blogs for my niche. The tool helps me to see if the blogs are dofollow enabled or not. Keeps me from wasting my time.

Most of us are looking for ranking on google. so why will we spend time getting nofollow links. we should invest the time om getting do follow links which is valuable. and how much visitor we will get from nofollow link? ( Unless the link is from very good site ). I will surely go for "dofollow" links.

What do you say? There are many comments which opens in pop up window and does those pages get cahced by goole? It is not.So we will not get any value from those links.

compare to content page link blog comment is nothing.

we should bring more good quality links from content pages as google gives more value to those links. In comment you will see many unrelated comments so the content most of the time is not related to the topic.

I think that Google does use nofollow links for ranking calculation and I also think it matters how many nofolow vs dofoolw links your site has
