    I was guessing if it really holds any value ?

    What steps should i follow to avoid TM infringement ?
    Does the names like googlecow.com googlenews.com also have TM infringement problem due to the name google in it ?

    Also Sites like fifasoccerblog.com ,

    if fifa wants your domain they can take easily

    just write them once and ask abt for a fan forum i think they will give permission

    Yep. The way to avoid TM infringement is to stay away from domains with trademarked words in them.

    If you park this domain, you will probably get into trouble down the line. If you create a "fan site" you might be able to get away with it... but you REALLY need to put in the effort and work on the site. If they feel as if you're just using the domain to profit off of their trademark, they will take the domain away.

    Looking at some previous WIPO claims, Fifa HAS pursued domains that infringe on their trademark and have been successful.
