    whether the site is DMOZ listed or not, the value of the site is depended on the revenue it generates and future growth potential

    The only value really is a backlink from DMOZ which has a really high page rank. People usually hype up their websites or domains when selling them by saying that it's DMOZ listed and all the benefits of it.
