I have a group of URI# domains that I would like your opinion as to what they may be valued at. I picked up a few these domains when studying the difference between URI and URL and learned that a URL is a subset of a URI. I figured these URI domains would have value or be great for a group of server domains or nameservers! Here is a link to W3C's explanation of a URI vs. URL: http://www.w3.org/TR/uri-clarification/#contemporary Here is a quote from Kenneth Fly's Web Site: "URI stands for Universal Resource Identifier and URL stands for Universal Resource Locator. Often times people use the terms interchangably, which is not entirely correct. A URL is a subset of the URI popular protocols. These are protocols (http://, ftp://, mailto. Therefore all URLs are URIs. The term URL is deprecated and the more correct term URI is used in technical documentation. All URIs are means to access a resource on the Internet and are a a technical short hand used to link to the resource. URIs always designate a method to access the resource and designate the specific resource to be accessed." The domains I am interesting in getting your opinion of value are similar to (# is for a single digit number for example): URI1.com URI#.com URI#.com Your help would be appreciated! Brian
I don't see any investment value in the names themsleves. uri1.com however is an established PR3 site with a clickbank affiliate link. The value would be in the traffic & revenue you can convert from uri1 & after developing sites on the other names.
